The Old Rathbone is decorated in a modern style offering intimate dining areas and relaxed socialising spaces. We have a large beer garden ideal for sunnier days, overlooked buy our raised deck area.

We are located in the heart of Frankby in the Wirral.

We offer freshly prepared food, a large selection of wines, lagers and cask ales.

Running the pub is team whose focus is on providing professional service in a friendly and welcoming way.

History

The coaching inn has a long history. Its current name is derived from the Rathbone family whom owned large areas of the Wirral - their wealth came from shipping. Read more about the Rathbone family

Prior to the name change in 2017, the pub was called The Farmers Arms.

Opening Hours

Open everyday from 12noon until late.

Food served everyday from 12noon until 9pm.

FAQs

Are you dog friendly?

Yes, we are very much so. Dogs are welcome throughout the pub and in the back yard. We do ask you keep your dog under control and on a lead at all times.

Can I book for a large party?

We can arrange for large tables or to separate a part of the pub for your event. Please call and ask our team about what we can offer and to discuss your budget.

Do you have any jobs available?

We are always looking for friendly, hard-working people to join our team. Just ask at the bar.

Are children allowed in the bar?

As long as they are supervised.
